down hill brake assist

hi does anyone know if the austral iconic has downhill brake assist also how do you activate

I don't know if it is fitted to the Iconic but the instructions for turning on "Hill Descent Control" are on page 2.56 of the manual and there is also a Renault video of how to turn it on as well on You Tube. It only works between about 4 and 18 mph when going forwards.

If I remember rightly it activates automatically.
There might be an on off option in driver assistance also, can't remember.

I have an Iconic MY23 and I did not see any settings for it.
