Recently picked up our Austral. Wondering if others have this or it’s an issue.

Driving along, go to put on the brakes, on occasion, brake pedal is already partially depressed with zero travel to it. It’s a really disconcerting feeling when you’re pulling up to a junction and the brake has no feel.

This is with regen on the standard setting when you turn the car on.

Yup mines the same...you have a "built in thing" in yer head of exactly where the brake pedal is (I.e. how far "up" it is) ...& then you go to press it & it's a "oh sh☆t" moment as it's NOT where you thought it would be !!!!!
VERY DISCONCERTING!!!!!!

It's the regen, you can change the dash display to the power generation layout and it shows you when the car is auto braking by showing the red lights on the image of the car.

Best way to drive it imo is to put max regen and let the car brake itself until about 15mph then do the final braking manually. Takes a bit of brain retraining to learn when to let off the accelerator but worth it in the end.
