I've downloaded and installed the Waze app from the Google Play store directly to the Austral's Multimedia system. The app runs OK and provides navigation but I cannot get it to provide spoken directions. I have checked the settings within the app to make sure spoken directions are selected but have not had any success in solving the problem. Has anybody else successfully downloaded, installed and managed to receive spoken directions?

Same on mine too. No sound so would be interested if anyone knows of a fix. It speaks when a Speed or traffic light camera is ahead but no spoken directions.

I've got the same, but going into the settings it looks like its a cut down version not very many options in there.

Hi, update on my Waze, I found that I had no sound with Waze on android auto as well so I uninstalled Waze on the openR link, got the sound working on Android Auto reinstalled Waze from play store on the openR link and low and behold the sound worked on Waze on the system I do not know if this will work for anyone else but it did for me, happy days.
